Yeah! Here is my second "Log Cabin" for my Log Cabin quilt. Wow, at this rate I might have it finished in 2 years. ( lol) I'll pick up my pace a bit on the cutting. I just wanted to see if I liked each "log cabin" being different, instead of having a paticular theme. I think I will like it just fine.

So pretty. Can I ask, what layout will you use when you have them done? I sorted all my scraps which will make my log cabin process easier I hope. I may cut all my strips at once and just randomly pull lights and darks. I will start mine after the holidays. I look forward to seeing all your blocks.
Actually Bren, I'm really doing the same. Each "cabin is going to be different so I will probably decide my layout later. I did sort my lights and darks and I am cutting them ahead of time as well; but I am impatient so I go ahead and make blocks as I go too ;o)
I am impressed Lisa! I think I will end up making blocks as I go also....that is alot of cutting all at once! I am planning on doing the barn raising layout, but am going to wait and be sure when I am done. I plan 100 10 inch blocks, so I will have a ways to go. Will you hand quilt it? I would love to see your sewing set up. Have you shown it before? It is always fun to see how others store their fabrics and organize their space, whether it is a large room or a corner of the bedroom (I have had both).
Thanks for your comment....I actually do not love choclate all that much, which is why it was so bizarre that I ate so much! I think it will be a while before I want any more!
Blessings!
