Well here it is. I posted in my daybook some time ago about beginning a log cabin quilt. After the planning I actually have my first piece complete. Whew. How gratifying. My second piece is in the making.
And just in case one hasn't noticed I have a new blog design. Thank you to hskubes who did a fabulous job. She used my actual quilt piece to design it. Great job Kubes! You can find her link at the bottom of my side bar.

Love the new design for your blog! Good luck with the rest of your quilt. I love quilts, but have never attempted one - it requires a lot of precision. (and I mess up :-s)

Your log cabin block is WONDERFUL! Love your fabric choices! The log cabin is my all time favorite quilt block and I jsut sorted all my scraps in order to make one myself. Your blog background is beautiful! Christine is very talented!!!! I need to see if she can ake one of my quilts and make a background for me!
I love the colors you chose. Is this your first quilt? You're doing a great job. The Log Cabin is one of my most favorite patterns and so simple to cut out.
